Service

Coming from the aviation industry, we have a different approach on how we work on bikes. With most bicycle shops outfitted with a few wrenches, a hack saw, and a file, they feel they are qualified to work on expensive bikes. There is a lot more training and specialized equipment involved which a lot of shops lack. With over 35 years in the aviation industry and 13 years in the bicycle industry, we have seen a need for a full service style bike shop that knows how to make things work correctly, not rig them together. By having an in house maching and fabrication shop, we are able to modify, mend, remanufacture, or prototype parts; and we work closely with a local CNC machine shop for production jobs. Thats why we can say we are an outsourced contractor for several manufactures in the bicycle industry for research & design, prototyping, and production services. What other bicycle shop can claim that?

Below are a list of common services we offer. If you would like to send your suspension or hydraulic brakes in for servicing, please fill out the RA form and someone from our staff will get back to you with an Return Authorization number.

Complete Overhaul - $129.99 (Reccomended every 2 years)

When gereral maintenance is not enough... We strip your entire bike down, ultrasonically cleaning the drivetrain, and degreasing and polishing your frame and fork. From here we disassemble your hubs, bottom bracket, and headset removing all the old grease and replacing it with our premium level Phil Wood water proof grease. Next, your wheels are trued and your drivetrain is put back together. Lastly, everything is tuned and wiped down clean and ready to roll!

Tune-Up Plus - $79.99 (Reccomended every year)

This is a premium level Tune-Up that is the bridge between a tune-up and a complete overhaul. Here we remove your entire drivetrain and clean it in our ultrasonic cleaner. Next we localized degrease and polish your frame and forks. From here, we preform our normal tune-up service, but we will also true your wheels. Think of this tune-up as having your cake... and eating it too!

Tune-Up - $44.99 (Reccomended every year)

First part of a good tune-up is cleaning the bike. We do a generalized degreasing of your bike to clean off all the built up road grime, dried up chin lube, and dirt and mud from your last ride. We then check the most overlooked things on your bike, checking the torque on your bottom bracket, crank bolts, chainring bolts, and other hardware on your bike. Next we adjust the bearings on your hubs, headset, bottom bracket. Lastly, we adjust your brakes, and shifting components replacing any worn and tired parts like chains, cables, and brake pads. A final wipe down, and your set for your next ride!

Basic Tune-Up - $29.99 (Reccomended 3 times per year, or when needed)

Our basic tune-up service is designed for single speed bikes, or as just a refresher for our complete tune-ups. We degrease your bike, and then adjust the brakes and shifting components. No frills, just as described... Basic.

Fork Service -  $69.99 (starting at)

One of the most neglected components on new bikes is suspension forks. With most manufactures reccomending service preformed every 40 hours, most riders will service the forks when something is noticably wrong; and at that time, they are already too late. Just like your car, you want to make sure you keep up on the oil changes. We wont go as far as reccomending every 40 hours of ride time for service intervals, but once every season will suffice and keep both you and your forks working like they should.

Rear Shock Service - $15 (starting at)

Most air shocks have less than 5ml of lubricating oil for the air canister... So what does that mean to you? It means that if you dont keep up on the rear shock service, your shock will essentially eat itself alive without this lubrication. Generally speaking, 5ml will last you roughly one season of ride time; anything beyond that you are on borrowed time from getting a "sucked down" shock.

We offer air canister seal kits and have the ability to completely service and fill your shock damper with nitrogen. We also offer services for coil type shocks including such brands as Fox, Manitou, Rock Shox, X-Fusion, Maverick, and more.

Wheel Building - $35 (starting at)

You can judge a good bicycle shop by the number of custom wheels they build each year. In 2008, Casino Bicycles built over 600 wheels all by hand. We have the ability to custom make spokes using our Phil Wood spoke machine, to ensure that you are getting the correct sized spokes and a properly built wheel. Have an elaborate wheel or a special need? Let us know what you are looking for and we'll see what we can do!

We also build motorcycle wheels! Yes you heard it correctly! We build quite a few motorcycle wheels every year, and seem to be less expensive than the local motor cycle shop.
